BOYCOTT INDIA AS A TRAVEL DESTINATION FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS.

BOYCOTT INDIA AS A TRAVEL DESTINATION FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS.

In the year 2012 tourism alone supported about 6.7 percent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of India.

Women tourist to India has dropped by 35% according to the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India.

Violence against Women, Sexual Assaults & Rapes in India are on the rise and will continue

1.  Danish Tourist Case: Eight monsters in New Delhi, the rape capital of India raped a 51 year old Danish tourist at knife point after she approached them for directions back to her hotel located in Paharganj, a busy backpacker district frequented by foreign tourists. The men led her to a dead-end road, where about eight men jumped out from bushes and cornered her, according to a police report cited by Indian news media. The victim’s ordeal lasted for about 3 hours near Connaught Place, a popular area frequented by shoppers. All six of the monsters are young homeless men.

 2.   German Tourist Case:   A few days ago an 18-year-old German charity worker was assaulted on a train in Southern India. The culprit was a fellow passenger.

 3.   Swiss Tourist Case:  In March 2013 a couple from Switzerland who were camping in a forest, in the Madhya Pradesh state were attacked by a group of men. They were brutally beaten up, the woman was gang raped repeatedly for long hours in the presence of her husband. Six men were jailed for life for the attack.

4.   American Tourist Case:  In June 2013 a 30 year old American woman was gang raped in the northern resort town of Manali as she made her way to her guest house (Inn).

5.  In 2013 a photojournalist was raped in broad daylight in Mumbai. Another, 21 year old woman was raped by 2 groups of men on Christmas Eve in Pondicherry. A 16 year old girl who was gang raped twice and set ablaze in Calcutta, later died.

According to the Government of India (GoI) there were 1,330 rapes reported in New Delhi and the surrounding suburbs between January – October 2013.

The new stringent laws that doubled prison terms for rape to 20 years and criminalized voyeurism and stalking do not serve as a deterrent to Indian men, simply because they do not respect women. The two largest cultures in India do not advocate for women to be respected.

Millions of women in India are harassed, violated and killed for dowry. Many more have to put up with daily indignities, the abuse continues unabated and the streets of India are not safe. Police corruption is rampant, people with clout, influence and the right connections get away with rape, murder, extortion, blackmail and much more.

The judicial process in India is a joke in itself. The Indian Judiciary is corrupt to its core, and the legal process takes decades. In the meantime, the witnesses either forget the facts as perceived at the time of the incident (crime), many witnesses are routinely bribed and suffer from sudden amnesia, or turn hostile towards the victim or prosecution, many are simply bought out by the culprits and their politically connected rich family members. The Police do not protect the witnesses, and the circus continues. The Judges of all levels and ranks can be bought as well, if you have the money or political connections all is well for the criminals and their accomplices.

The victim is further brutalized by the Judicial Officers, Police and the Law itself.

Cases involving foreigners continue to get more attention in the media and from the police, Indian women who are raped are still unlikely to receive justice. The double standards are a part and parcel of life in India. This is Justice in India.

The 6 pillars upon which India stands today are illiteracy, hypocrisy, anarchy, blindness, monstrosity and irrationality. If a country’s GDP was to be measured by any of these 6 national products, India would rightfully be the richest country in the world, but for now I will leave it for history to prove me wrong.

New Delhi – The Rape Capital of India

Welcome to the land of a million Gods & a billion Godless, ignoramus, intellectually impotent people who share a strong collective belief that a woman is raped because “it was her fault” or “because she should have known better [i.e. nature of men]”.

For two months I chose to remain silent on the rape & murder of the young girl and the brutal attack on her male friend. The brutality is overwhelmingly incomprehensible, & sickening to me. It was just too much for me to bear, just too much for me to think of the evil that befell on the two youngsters. I cannot even fathom the pain and suffering of the grieving parents, family members and friends of the young lady whose vibrant youth, her  dreams, aspirations & a wonderful promising life, was taken away by the pure evil acts of those six rapist who ravaged her modesty on December 16, 2012 on a bus in Delhi.

The brutality of the assault, in which the six men raped the 23 year old & beat her up with a metal rod & the insertion of the same into her tender body, leading to severe intestinal damage but that was not enough for them so they went ahead and threw her and her male friend out of the moving bus onto a highway.

Welcome to the land of a million Gods & a billion Godless, ignoramus, intellectually impotent people who share a strong collective belief that a woman is raped because “it was her fault” or “because she should have known better [about nature of men]”.

I grew up listening to these lame excuses that help deflect the criminality of the act itself and  further victimize those who are raped & molested. I detested such wretchedness and continue to do so to this day. In my teens it became evident to me that a woman was nothing more than a object of desire and a second class citizen.

Rape, incest , child molestation, sexual harassment and sexual assault on women, and children of both genders is nothing new in this Holy Land. These barbaric acts are committed everyday in urban and rural India. Statistics indicate 70% to 75% of the rapes in urban areas are not reported by the victim or by his/her family members or guardians.

In rural India where the vast majority of India’s population resides, raping and molestation of women and children is very prevalent and grossly under reported crimes. Why?

The answer – Abject poverty & powerful crime lords belonging to the upper caste [local politicians, landowners, & police personnel are the most common perpetrators of these crimes]. The women of lower caste, such as Dalits are raped and they suffer in silence. How Holy are WE?

Sex crimes or sexual assaults are not reported to the police by the victim or by his/her family because of societal pressures. The victim and his/her parents and immediate family members are often ostracized by other family members, friends, neighbors & by the religious gurus and pundits. Religious places of worship have been known to label the rape victim as a “shameless whore” or “parivaar ka kalank (blot on the family name)”, “public prostitute”  and so on.

One of the main reasons the media have ignored to address this issue has it’s genesis in India’s history, culture & custom, education system & the judicial system.

The media in the so called “largest democracy” needs an education in what it means to live in a Free Constitutional Democracy. Perhaps for a change (I hope it will be a permanent one) you can be patriotic by defending and enforcing the Constitution, and the law of the land by holding the politicians, law enforcement officials, public servants and other government personnel accountable and responsible for their actions. The same would be applicable to the local police, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and other members of the intelligence community.

Some of the notorious rape cases of India in recent years

1.   1990 – Rape & murder of Ms. Hetal Parekh, a 14 year old by her Dhananjay Chatterjee, a guard in her apartment builiding. The culprit was convicted in the court of law and sent to the gallows in 2004.

2.   1992 – Gang rape of Ms. Bhanwari Devi, in the State of Rajasthan. Ms. Devi was “punished” because she protested against the age old practice of child marriage. How Holy are WE?

The case is still being fought in the courts in the typical Indian way, deliberately and purposefully slowly dragging it out. Giving enough time for two of the accused to die natural deaths.

Now, we Indians cannot be blaming the Taliban, and the Pakistanis across the border for perpetrating such crimes.

3.  1996 – A minor, 16 year old, from a place in Suryanelli, in South India was raped continuously for 40 days by 42 men. A special court sentenced 35 of these monsters to prison, the Kerala State High Court acquitted all of them.

4.   1996 – Priyadarshini Mattoo, a 25 year old law student was raped & and murdered in her home in New Delhi. The culprit is serving a life sentence.

5.   2003- A Swiss diplomat, 36 year old raped by two savages in Delhi as she was returning home after a screening of a Chinese film at the 34th International Film Festival of India held at Siri Fort Auditorium.

As the victim opened the door to her Toyota, the 2 savages pushed her into the back seat. One of the men raped her, while the other monster drove through the well lit street of South Delhi. After 90 minutes she was dropped off at Safdarjung Enclave and given instructions on how to get back home, in the most casual manner.

The 2 savages were in their late 20s, and one of them spoke fluent English. In the testimony recorded by the police, the diplomat said that one was well dressed and spoke English and after raping her went on a monologue about life in Switzerland and Europe and spoke of the sanctity of Indian marriages.

In her assessment the rapist clearly came from a upper middle class background and may have known or may have dealt with foreigners in the past.

6.  Indian President‘s bodyguards gang rape   –  On October 6, 2003 a 17 year old and her boyfriend were at Buddha Jayanti Park in the backyard of the Presidential Palace, to watch the Dalai Lama. Here, 4 members of the elite President’s bodyguards on duty and in uniform brutally raped the 17 year Delhi University student.

The ever slow judicial system of India handed down 2 of the savages life imprisonment and the other 2 got 10 years each. I often wondered how many years would each of these monsters received if their 17 year old victim was the President’s daughter.

7.   2004 – Ms. Manorama T. Chanu was gang raped & killed in Manipur by the finest soldiers of the Indian army.

8.  2005 – Ms. Prathibha Murthy, hired a cab to take her home from the call center where she worked in Bangalore, India’s IT & BPO hub. She was raped and killed by the driver who was to drive her home.

9.  2007 – Two Japanese tourists were drugged & raped by three men in Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal

10.  2009 – An American student at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was gang raped. The court in Sewree acquitted the accused for lack of evidence. The presiding  judge observed that the victim was never raped and no “sexual intercourse” took place and described the 23 year old American’s statements as “neither wholly reliable nor wholly unreliable”.

This investigation and evidenced collection was botched from the very beginning by the police even after the doctors & medical personnel that the young woman was gang raped.

According to police report, the victim was taken to a house of one of the accused Mr. Kundanraj Bodgohai in Andheri & gang raped by by Vinamra Soni (23), Harshvardharn Yadav (22), Jaskaran Singh Bullar (21), Anish Borkatki (21), Dev Colabawala (21) and Kundanraj Bodgohai (22).

Since, the court did not find the victim “wholly reliable” the six accused were set free.

11.  2009 – Ms. Nayana Pujari who worked for an IT company was gang raped in Pune. The prime accused escaped from police custody.

12.  How may Indians recall the Aruna Shanbaug case.

On November 27, 1973, Aruna Shanbaug a nurse at King Edward Memorial Hospital Bombay (n/k/a Mumbai), was assaulted by Sohanlal Bharta Walmiki, an employee who worked as a cleaner at the hospital. The police report charged Sohanlal Walmiki, the culprit with crimes of robbery, assault and attempted murder, but deliberately did not record the sodomy (rape) of the victim, ostensibly to saver her impending marriage.

It has been more then 40 years since Aruna was raped and left for dead, she continues to live in a permanently vegetative state and is fed through a tube and looked after by the nurses at King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai, India. Her rapist Sohanlal Bharta Walmiki, served a 7 year sentence and was set free, his whereabouts are unknown.

How Holy is India? How educated are it’s people? How law abiding is the Judiciary of this Holy Land of ours?

Perhaps, it is time for us to collectively hang our heads in shame & start asking ourselves some tough questions. We must promise ourselves that the next pilgrimage that we embark on will not be to our favorite shrine, temple, mosque or some place where a Saint or Guru was born or a Pundit or Sadhu laid to rest, but a  soul searching pilgrimage, we can all agree it is going to be one hell of a journey.

Harder the journey, the greater the depth of one’s purification.

India – Land of Gurus, Swamis & Swines, all equally guilty of promoting violence & illiteracy. (Part 1)

To:

Bal ThackerayShiv Sena, the right wing Hindu fundamentalist political party of India

My thoughts captured herein, are directly in response to your public admiration and support of Adolf Hitler, the Nazi bastard & mass murdering white supremacist thug who came to power by instigating violence and hatred against intellectuals, academics & religious leaders of Germany & Europe.

Adolf Hitler, the Nazi bastard & his henchmen are directly responsible for the most heinous atrocities ever committed against humanity & nature. Specifically, the mass murder of Jews across Europe.

Perhaps you & your family would have met the same end as your idol Adolf Hitler whom you have worshiped for more than five decades. You have described Adolf Hitler as a great leader, someone with a great personality and leadership qualities, well your statements illustrates to the world how ignorant you and your family are of world history and events. These pathetic and illiterate statements directly reflect upon your intelligence level, upbringing, family values, and much more.

It clearly demonstrates to the world at large as to what an illiterate you are. So goes the same for your immediate family members, friends, party members and followers of your right wing political party, the Shiv Sena.

Adolf Hitler, the Nazi bastard, mass murderer of millions of people, including innocent children, senior citizens, mentally and physically disabled people of Germany and Europe would have sent you, your wife and parents to the gas chamber, if Hitler had invaded India.

You and your kind would not have seen the light of day. You are just not an illiterate & violent human being but also a manifestation of evil in our world.

Our planet would be a better place without inhabitants of your caliber and intelligence.

A humble appeal to my fellow Indians

More violence in the name of God, community and religion took place in Mumbai.

Why can’t we all just get along?

How many more people need to be killed?
How many more mother’s have to loose their children?

How many more children have to loose their parents?

How many more spouses have to loose their partners?
Before we all can UNITE under the tricolor flag of India. If India can find ways and means to launch satellites, travel in space, build one of the most advanced missiles in the world & aspire to send a man to the moon in the next decade, such HIMALAYAN dreams can only be achieved by India by solving the most difficult problems in pure mathematics, engineering, astrophysics, chemistry, aeronautics and other scientific and social disciplines.

This truly shows that we are a nation of hard working intellectuals, who are open minded and ever ready for adventure and learning new things in life.

However, we are absolutely blinded by the subject of religion. India’s BIGGEST challenge of curbing communal disharmony, heinous acts of violence in the name of God is its inability to recognize that the true message of religion is HUMANITY.

We humans should start believing in HUMANITY more than what the good book teaches, because the very essence of loving GOD is to love & serve HUMANITY.

End the violence now and forever, speak up & hold our government officials and community leaders accountable for their lack of  integrity and understanding.

Let us all join hands and promise ourselves to respect each others views and religious beliefs even when they are in different than our very own, promise to respect each other’s Constitutional rights & to uphold the law.

Please, let us all get together and help India grow and transform into a more tolerant, civil & peaceful nation looked upon, well respected and admired by other countries of the world.Thank you

Let us educate ourselves on the dangers of fundamentalism in India & around the world.

I am a social activist, who firmly believes in a free democracy, and human rights.

Voting was a lot easier under Adolf Hitler

Voting was a lot easier under Adolf Hitler (Photo credit: tiexano)

My sole objective is to educate the people around the world, especially India, my birthplace, on the rise of government abuses, such as violation of civil rights & the sharp rise in religious fanaticism and right wing movements such as Shiv Sena, a ultra right wing Hindu group which admires & worships ADOLF HITLER. The Government of India (GOI) has done absolutely nothing to curb this menace for the past 50 years.

India has more than 10,000 Hindu and Muslim right wing groups. Each promoting their own dangerous ideology.

Shiv Sena wants to ban everyone from celebrating Valentine’s Day (February 14th). Since, they cannot convince anyone to follow their stupid ideology or share in their dream of  a “Valentine Day Free India” the Shiv Sena took it upon themselves to illegally “policing” the streets, restaurants and bars to enforce their will on the destiny of educated and liberated Indians through acts of violence.

Each of these violent groups work independently and in uni-some to achieve their political goals and objectives through the impetus of fear, intimidation, kidnapping, extortion, rape, murder and so on.

If we as a human race continue to tolerate, dismiss or simply turn a blind eye to these injustices, free democracies such as India will cease to exist as democracies.

The rule of law, freedom of expression, assembly, speech, & religion, among many other freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic will no longer serve as the protector of its citizens.

WE must unite & fight criminals, politicians, & internal enemies of the state who hold positions of power in all three branches of our government.

WE must stand united if we want to secure the future of our country. This task is of paramount importance & I urge every man, woman & child to join me. ~ Thank you

Help transform India – Fight for your Constitutional rights

Wake Up India

Fight for your Constitutional rights, because your Government wants you to be illiterate & subservient

While the majority of India‘s population lives in abject poverty & faces severe malnutrition, shortage of food, water, clothing, low income housingrunning water, electricity, healthcare & education, which forces millions of poverty stricken parents to take desperate measures such as having their 5 & 6 year old children to work as bonded laborers (slaves) in the most appalling conditions and without adequate food, education, shelter or sanitary conditions.

Instead of declaring WAR on the very problems that keep India in absolute mindbogglingly poverty.

The Government of India (GOI) has decided to declare WAR on its citizens by undermining their intelligence and attacking their Constitutional rights.

The Government of India and the selected (not elected) criminals in the Indian parliament in New Delhi cannot stomach the fact that dissent, and a more outspoken citizenry demanding their legal rights, enforcement of laws, equality, due process, accountability and civility from its government (Saarkar) are gathering momentum.

It is only a matter of time before UNITED CITIZENS OF INDIA (Hindus, Muslims, SikhsJains, Christians, Jews and many more) are more likely to bring law and order, civility, accountability and respect to the nation and to its democratic institutions.

A civil revolt of Himalayan proportions is inevitable if Indians get more legal rights, knowledge from the Internet, education and awareness of their region and the world in which they live in. This is the BIGGEST threat to the criminal politicians who want to keep the masses under their thumb.

Curbing free speech, expression and general knowledge only helps the criminal politicians to solidify their positions of power.

WE will not let this happen.

For how long? How many millions looted from the Indian treasury & the poor by the “ELITE CLASS” in India?

Dear Friends & critics

As I investigate and report on India’s criminals and enemies of the state – politicians, members of law enforcement, gurus, charlatans, spiritual leaders, charitable organisations, industrialist, businessmen/women, I feel sick to my stomach.

My sickness stems from the sheer immorality, illegality, connivance, cruelty, and the impunity they enjoyed for decades and continue to do so today.

I have taken the liberty to share some observations made in the GFI report – The Drivers and Dynamics of Illicit Financial Flows from India: 1948-2008: A new report from Global Financial Integrity, November 2010.

  • The report estimates that tax evasion, crime, and corruption have removed gross illicit assets from India worth US $462 billion (adjusted value) from 1948-2008.
  • These illicit financial flows were generally the product of: tax evasion, corruption, bribery and kickbacks, and criminal activities.
  •  The report also finds that the faster rates of economic growth since economic reform started in 1991 led to a deterioration of income distribution which led to more illicit flows from the country.
  • India’s poor state of governance is reflected in a growing underground economy which in turn has fueled more transfers of illicit capital from India. This analysis is cast in terms of a pre- and a post-reform period spanning a total of 61 years since independence.
  • “This report puts into stark terms the financial cost of tax evasion, corruption, and other illicit financial practices in India,” said Global Financial Integrity director Raymond Baker. “It also shows that these illicit outflows contribute to stagnating levels of poverty and an ever widening gap between India’s rich and poor.”
  • India’s aggregate illicit flows are more than twice the current external debt of US $230 billion.
  • Based on the last five years of the study, 2004-2008, India lost assets at a rate of US $19 billion per year.
  • Total capital flight out of India represents approximately 16.6 percent of India’s GDP as of year-end 2008. In present value terms, India lost an equivalent of about 36 percent of its 2008 GDP which represents a staggering loss of capital.
  • 68% (percent) of India’s aggregate illicit capital loss occurred after India’s economic reforms in 1991.
  • From 1948 through 2008 the Indian private sector shifted away from deposits into developed country banks and moved more of its money into offshore financial centers (OFCs). The share of OFC deposits increased from 36.4 percent in 1995 to 54.2 percent in 2009.
  • India’s underground economy is closely tied to illicit financial outflows.
  • The total present value of India’s illicit assets held abroad ($462 billion) accounts for approximately 72 percent of India’s underground economy. This means that almost three-quarters of the illicit assets comprising India’s underground economy—which has been estimated to account for 50 percent of India’s GDP (approximately $640 billion at the end of 2008)—ends up outside of the country.
  • The finding that only 27.8 percent of India’s illicit assets are held domestically support arguments that the desire to amass wealth illegally without attracting government attention is one of the primary motivations behind the cross-border transfer of illicit capital.
  • In the post-reform period of 1991-2008, deregulation and trade liberalization accelerated the outflow of illicit money from the Indian economy. Opportunities for trade mispricing grew and expansion of the global shadow financial system—particularly island tax havens—accommodated the increased outflow of India’s illicit capital flight.

Author’s thoughts: As long as we do NOT unite under the tri-colored flag without reservations, or feelings of bias or prejudice towards our fellow citizens, the government will NEVER be held accountable to its people. Majority of our politicians are criminals, first step is to change the electoral process. Set up high standards for those who run for public office and keep them in check through checks and balances, internal and external.

Keep our judiciary and it’s officers free from political, societal or legislative influence or pressure. I urge one and all to UNITE and fightback. One great fighting tool is Public Interest Litigation (PIL). Stay United, Stay Involved, Stay Vigilant, & always be brave to fight the enemies of the state. ~ Jai Hind.
